The LT4 powerplant was only available in the Grand Sport Corvettes and the Collector Edition Corvettes in 1996. Power is transferred from the mighty LT4 to the rear via the Corvettes ZF6 6-speed manual transmission. Both the engine and transmission perform just as they should. This Collector Edition Corvette is finished in its original and correct Sebring Silver which still shows excellent. The exterior fiberglass is in excellent condition with no cracks or defects present. The exterior is complimented nicely by the collector edition badges and collector edition center caps. The factory wheels are beginning to show their age with some corrosion and are still wrapped in the car’s original Goodyear Eagle GS-C tires, that were specifically spec’d for the Collector Edition and Grand Sport Corvettes. The factory grey leather interior is in excellent condition as well with little wear present. The original Grey leather seats benefit from the Collector Edition script embroidered in the headrest of the power bucket seats. This Collector Edition Corvette is very nicely equipped with factory options including: dual power seats, in-dash tachometer, rear window defrost, Bose stereo, remote keyless entry, dual power mirrors, tilt steering, automatic climate control, cruise control, power windows, power steering, and power 4-wheel disc brakes.
