• Description: This 1966 Chevrolet Corvette is finished in Tuxedo Black over black leather upholstery and powered by a L79 327ci/350hp V8 mated to a M21 four-speed manual transmission. Features include a black convertible top, red-striped stinger hood, chrome bumperettes, side pipes, four-wheel disc brakes, 15″ turbine-style wheels with three-eared spinners, a Holley four-barrel carburetor, an Accel distributor, an analog clock, and a Delco AM/FM radio. Some of the work completed is as follows; replacing the rear brake caliper, left headlight motor, and spark plugs, FULL body detail with paint correction. The fiberglass body is finished in Chevrolet Tuxedo Black exterior with a black convertible top, 1967 red-striped stinger hood, split chrome bumperettes, pop-up headlamps, fender vents, a rear-mounted antenna, and a dual side-outlet exhaust system with heat shielding. The 15″ turbine-style wheels wear three-eared knock off spinners and are mounted with 215/65 BFGoodrich Radial T/A tires. Braking is handled by unassisted discs at all four corners. The interior is trimmed in black leather and features a heater and defroster, an aftermarket shifter, an analog clock, lap belts, and a Delco AM/FM radio. The three-spoke steering wheel frames a 160-mph speedometer, a tachometer, and supplementary gauges. The L79 RPO Code 327ci V8 was factory rated at 350 horsepower and features a Holley four-barrel carburetor, Accel distributor, “ram’s horn” exhaust manifolds, finned valve covers, chrome air cleaner lid and ignition cover.
