Ground Up Built Restomod 6.2L LT1 V8 Automatic Art Morrison Chassis A/C ///
This 1959 Chevrolet Corvette is a no-expense-spared restomod completed by Burning River Restomods of Berea, Ohio. Designed to retain its iconic C1 character while dramatically improving performance, comfort, and reliability, this build delivers the best of both worlds in a clean, high-end package. The fiberglass body is finished in metallic grey with silver coves and features restored or replaced trim, subtle LED headlights, and a black Stayfast soft top. 19" Curtis Speed wheels replicate the look of original hubcaps and are wrapped in Pirelli P-Zero Nero tires. Power comes from a 6.2L LT1 crate engine with a GM Hot Cam, producing 495 horsepower. A DeWitts aluminum radiator handles cooling, and a custom stainless steel exhaust with center-exit tips delivers an aggressive tone. A 4L60E 4-speed automatic pairs with a Camaro SS limited-slip rear, making it a street-friendly cruiser with serious capability. Underneath, a powder-coated Art Morrison GT chassis features fully independent suspension, Hyperco coilovers, power rack-and-pinion steering, and Brembo four-wheel disc brakes with cross-drilled and slotted rotors. Inside, the custom gray leather interior includes sculpted bucket seats, an extended firewall for added comfort, Dakota Digital gauges, and a billet steering wheel. A leather-wrapped center console houses cupholders, Vintage Air climate controls, an Alpine touchscreen, and the power hood switch. The matching trunk is fully upholstered to the same standard.
