Fresh, Ground Up Built Corvette Restomod Dart 427ci V8 8-Stack EFI 5-Speed A/C ///

If you want the ultimate take on the last of the solid-axle Corvettes, this 1962 restomod delivers. Finished in 2025 after a careful build that started in 2017, it’s a no-expense-spared project chosen for its clean, undamaged foundation. The body and paint were handled by Corvette specialists, then buffed and ceramic coated, with excellent trim and chrome plus a professionally restored Glassworks hardtop and new Stayfast soft top. It rides on 18-inch American Racing Salt Flat Specials with Michelin Pilot Sports, while T3 headlights and C7 exhaust tips add subtle custom touches. Under the hood, a Dart Pro 427ci with Inglese 8-stack EFI puts down 552 hp and 573 lb/ft, assembled by Griff’s Engine and Machine. Power goes through a Tremec TKO600 to a Ford 9-inch with 3.54 gears on a triangulated 4-link, mounted to a Street Shop chassis with C7 front suspension, QA1 coilovers, rack-and-pinion steering, and four-wheel disc brakes. Inside, it’s all custom leather with plush, stitched buckets, leather-wrapped dash and wheel, Dakota Digital gauges, Vintage Air, Sony touchscreen audio with SiriusXM and Bluetooth, and a classic white cue ball shifter. It’s a ’62 Corvette that keeps the timeless shape but drives, handles, and feels like a modern machine.
