New Widebody C2 by Vette Industries 6.2L LS3 V8 5-Spd Street Shop Chassis ///

This mid-year Corvette Wide Body Coupe is a reinvention of the Sting Ray, built by Vette Industries on one of their brand-new C2 bodies. Titled as a 1965 due to its original birdcage, it wears a 1967 body crafted with superior-quality molds, tooling resins, and factory-correct mounting points for precision and durability. The widebody adds three inches of width, exaggerating the Sting Ray’s curves into a supercar stance while creating room for wider wheels, tires, and advanced suspension. Finished in black with a red stinger hood, it features chrome side pipes, Detroit Speed headlights, and custom 36-spoke turbine-style knock-off wheels, 19 inches up front and 20 in the rear, wrapped in Michelin Pilot Sport 4S tires sized 245/40ZR19 and 345/30ZR20. A custom “Megalodon” emblem replaces the traditional Sting Ray script, nodding to the shark-inspired Mako Shark concept while giving the car its own identity. Power comes from a 495-horsepower LS3 V8 dressed as a 427 big block, paired with a Tremec TKX 5-speed manual, while a Street Shop chassis with C7 suspension geometry, QA1 coilovers, power rack-and-pinion steering, and a Bosch iBooster braking system delivers modern precision and control. Inside, Steve Holcomb’s red leather and black suede upholstery joins Dakota Digital gauges, a period-correct Antique Automobile Radio with Bluetooth, Vintage Air, Alpine audio, dimmable LED ambient lighting, an alcantara headliner, and leather-wrapped sunvisors. Every detail reflects precision, from the finish of the panels to the confident sound of the doors closing. For those bold enough to claim it, this widebody Sting Ray offers more than performance. It delivers an exclusive experience that only a handful will ever know.
