1966 Corvette
Fresh Ground-Up Built Corvette Custom Supercharged 6.2L LS3 5-spd Roadster Shop ///
Built from the bare fiberglass up, this 1966 Chevrolet Corvette is a masterclass in craftsmanship and performance. Completed in 2025 by Creative Rod & Custom, recipient of the Goodguys 2019 Trendsetter of the Year award, the car was taken through a full rotisserie restoration where every seam was reworked and every panel perfected before being finished in metallic burgundy PPG basecoat/clearcoat. The body’s subtle refinements and show-quality chrome highlight its sharper, more deliberate stance, set over Schott 18- and 19-inch Mach V wheels wrapped in Michelin Pilot Sport 4S tires. Power comes from a supercharged 6.2L GM LS3 producing over 560 rear-wheel horsepower, paired with a Bowler TKX 5-speed and a 5th-generation Camaro independent rear differential with 3.73 gears. A Roadster Shop SPEC 7 chassis with Cerakote-finished control arms, power rack-and-pinion steering, and Baer 14-inch six-piston brakes gives the car modern precision and control. Inside, the custom RP Interiors cabin features hand-stitched tan leather, blue-illuminated Dakota Digital gauges, a console-mounted electronic parking brake, and a Custom AutoSound system with SiriusXM, Bluetooth, and modern air conditioning. Executed to an elite standard, this Corvette represents the pinnacle of C2 craftsmanship, delivering timeless design, advanced performance, and a level of finish that places it among the finest builds of its kind.
