- Description: Our Matching Numbers Bloomington Gold Award winning 1963 Chevrolet Corvette Fuelie Sting Ray Convertible is shown in Roman Red over Black seating covered perfectly with a White top. Our C2 Corvette doesn’t disappoint with a certified original Rochester mechanical fuel injection 327 CID V8 offering 360hp paired to a 4 Speed Manual transmission. This convertible has an unmistakable body and excellent paint that makes it look mean but classic enough that it can still go on the road trips you want. Regardless of how you use this car, it still has all the great Corvette hallmarks, such as unique fender lines, flip-up concealed headlights, a soft white top, dual exhaust outlets vented through the rear valance, and chrome bumperettes designed to cut the wind. The engine compartment and components on this 327 CID V8 are certified original, with the frame, chassis, and engine stamp records from National Corvette Restorers Society and Classic Car Affirmation Service, LLC by Al Grinning, also including a clean Pennsylvania title. The research indicates that our mid-year C2 Corvette was built on June 17, 1963, and delivered new to Withers Motor Co. of Fort Sumner, New Mexico. It has impressive exhaust rumble mixed with the unmistakable sound of factory fuel injection and a feel of prestige that gives this solid-axle car a sure grip and quick take-off on the steel wheels with chrome hubcaps & faux spinners wrapped in BFGoodrich whitewall 205/75 tires. Inside our Sting Ray, the Black on the matching dashboard, Black door cards, Black carpet, and Black vinyl seats complement the feel of this roadster. Just like the outside, there is the right amount of chrome touches to be a friendly reminder of post-WWII American style. The instrument cluster, 160mph speedometer, 6,500-rpm redline tachometer, fuel level, amperage, coolant temperature, and oil pressure are present, plus an analog clock and a vertically-mounted Delco AM/FM radio are fitted in the center console. The interiors of these Corvettes fit drivers like a glove. The bucket seats are armchair comfortable, and the thin three-spoke steering wheel offers an excellent grip in the cockpit of this classic convertible.
