EXTERIOR & INTERIOR:

The EXTERIOR still has the original WHITE factory GM paint (GM Code #10). The finish and gloss has held up remarkably for its 32 years of age. A previous owner did a very sub-par touch-up in spots on the front and rear extensions. The paint has begun to spider and chip in certain areas due to its age; and being in the North East the last three years. The most notable area of paint loss was on the tip of the nose, as was common on these C3’s. The areas of chipped and spidered paint on the front fascia have been sanded, and a better touch-up was done by me. The manual remote adjust side mirrors are in fine shape. The headlamps and tail-lights are in fine condition. The actuators for the headlight covers work to factory specifications. There is a slight crack in a corner on the driver’s side T-top glass panel. Other than that, they are in fine condition. The windshield and rear glass are in fine condition. As with any car this age, it contains minor scuffs, chips, spidering, and markings from rock or other tiny road debris. Anything of significance can be represented by photo.

The original steering wheel has been replaced with a Grant wheel designed for the ’81 Corvettes only. The dash and center console are in fine condition. All gauges and instruments are original and in fine working order. The leather seats had been replaced by a previous owner, but are the same stock style and color that was put in the car when built. The front carpet and carpet in the load area is factory original (Medium Red Color). The carpet is in overall fine condition, but there are some spots that have ware, fading, slight tearing, and fraying. Any blemishes to the carpet areas are due to sun and natural ware over use. The same can be said about the interior leather door panels. They are in good condition, but exhibit fading due to sun, and the natural course of time and usage. Any significant blemishes can be represented through a photo.

OTHER NOTEABLES:

The factory L-81 engine was re-bored to 355 cubic inches by the previous owner. The cam shaft was swapped out, and the factory 3-speed automatic was rebuilt. This work was done at around 80,000 miles. There have been 23,500 miles put on since this work. There is a K&N intake filter and housing. The “Computer Command Control” (CCC) is in excellent working order. Custom tail piping was installed in place of the mufflers. Horsepower and backflow have improved as a result. All factory parts that have been removed are available as well on purchase.

I also have all documentation that came from the previous owner, all service records through my ownership, the original manuals, and other useful documentation. Several mechanical parts have been replaced or upgraded, including the differential, alternator, starter, intake, and valve covers to name a few.

ALSO AVAILABLE IS THE APPRAISAL REPORT DONE BY INTERNATIONAL VEHICLE APPRAISERS NETWORK (IVAN) WHEN I PURCHASED IT.
