The Chevrolet Corvette, known colloquially as the Vette, or Chevy Corvette, is a sports car manufactured by Chevrolet. The car has been produced through seven generations. The first model, a convertible, was introduced at the GM Motorama in 1953 as a concept show car. Myron Scott is credited for naming the car after the type of small, maneuverable warship called a corvette. Originally built in Flint, Michigan and St. Louis, Missouri, the Corvette is currently manufactured in Bowling Green, Kentucky and is the official sports car of the Commonwealth of Kentucky.
GR Auto Gallery is pleased to present this 1973 Chevrolet Corvette for consideration. This particular Corvette has been in the hands of the current owner since 2001 and prior to that it was in the original owner’s hands. This vehicle is believed to be all original, including the 350 cubic inch V8 motor and the turbo 400 automatic transmission. Mechanically this Vette is spot on and can be driven anywhere, the vehicle has been maintained extensively; just recently this vehicle had a newer exhaust installed and also a fresh rebuild of the carb. Vehicle features power steering, a working heater, power brakes, front and rear disc brakes, T-Tops, a full car cover and an assembly manual. A great find for those who love the 70’s era Corvette and enjoy a uniquely beautiful ride to enjoy, call us with any questions you may have while it’s still here!
